About Jerry O’Halloran
Jerry O’Halloran brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, supported by a career defined by leadership, discipline, and long-term thinking. A retired United States Air Force pilot, Jerry’s professional foundation is rooted in responsibility, precision, and service—values that continue to shape his work with clients today.
Jerry holds degrees in Economics and Finance, along with an MBA, providing a strong academic framework for understanding financial systems, markets, and strategic planning. Over the course of his career, he has worked with clients across 12 states, helping individuals and families navigate financial decisions at many different stages of life.
His background includes more than a decade with major wirehouse firms, where he gained broad exposure to complex financial environments and advisory practices. In addition, Jerry spent 10 years as a New Broker Training Coordinator, mentoring and educating new advisors entering the industry. This experience reflects his commitment to education, professionalism, and thoughtful planning.
Jerry believes financial guidance should be built on clarity, trust, and open communication. He takes a collaborative, client-focused approach—listening carefully, asking the right questions, and helping clients understand their options so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
Outside of his professional work, Jerry remains actively involved in the community. His dedication to service extends beyond his career and reflects a genuine commitment to the people and communities he serves.
Our company Logo, Daedalus, comes from Greek Mythology.
It is based on Greek mythology where Daedalus, along with his son Icarus, were imprisoned on the island of Crete. Their plan to escape included making wings of feathers and wax and flying to freedom and safety. Prior to their flight to escape Daedalus cautioned his son Icarus not to fly too low as the wings would
become saturated with water and lose lift. He also cautioned him not to fly too high as he would be too close to the sun and its heat would melt the wax and he would surely fall info the Aegean sea and be lost forever.
As legend has it, son Icarus became so enthralled with his experience of flight he continued to soar to thrilling heights until the sun in fact did melt the wax in his wings and he fell to his death in the Aegean Sea.
So it is with managing our financial futures. When our finances attempt to fly too high, attempting to get too aggressive by investing in high risk securities, we expose our financial future to major losses.
When our finances fly too low, relying solely on safe, fixed income vehicles, we may not be able to stay ahead of inflation and taxes. This can result in outliving our income and reducing our quality of life in our retirement years.
As with Daedalus, who flew successfully toward his freedom, we believe in a more balanced and conservative approach toward financial planning.
Portfolios should contain some investments that offer stable guaranteed income, some investments to stay ahead of inflation, and flexibility to adjust to those changes we experience as we progress though life.
However, all investment decisions must be made on your own individual needs and risk tolerances.
